Hello everybobs x long time no post... for some reason previously i couldnt post my pictures as my picture button had dissapeared but this now seems to be resolved x Have been very busy with work commitments therefore my crafting and mojo had taken a backseat and i took a break from it all but now im back it seems

This card has been made from the beautiful new packs of Gorjuss girls craft which i just love.. they are such rich papers and great quality. This one is for my daughter natalie who will be 17 on the 12th or march x

vintage car

hello everybobs.. first card ive made for a while due to work commitments and training days..! this one is a right mix up of products.. with a vintage car and paper from papermania.. weathered clock and gadget gears dies from tim holtz sissix range, and cog stamps from kanban stamps range... mixed with a little distressing here and there and a few beer cans for good measure !!

micheal powell christmas stamp...

Hello everybobs xx  this card was made using my latest stamp by Micheal Powell sold by the Urban stamps range/Papemania.  Like i did with his lighthouse stamp, I prefered it to be a little bit more 3D so stamped the image out 5 times and cut it down into layers to decoupage...Coloured as usual with my promarkers, I did enjoy doing these little houses...  I added flat backed pearls where the christmas lights should be for a nice effect...and a bit of stickles on the snow..

The night sky was done using distress inks on the first layer..(weathered wood, faded jeans and chipped saphire)

hello everybobs xx  this csard has been made for my dear hubby whos birthday is tomorrow x

the background was stamped straight onto a cream 8x8 card using kanban stamp set 'cogs' using various shades of brown distress inks and distressing the background with antiue linen and vintage photo inks.

next i made a top layer with the heart cut out to make the background sunken. this was distressed with walnut stain and sprayed with gold mica. the heart and cogs were then made using tin from beer cans and tim holz dies 'heartwings' and 'gadget gears' which were coloured with promarkers. the sentiment was hand made.

Hello everybobs !  this card was made for a work collegue who is leaving.. she really loves tinkerbell so thought this would be appropriate..  I made the card look a bit more grown up too seeing as its for a grown up not a child x  image was taken from colouring sheets online.. papers from first edition boho chic 12x12

Hello everybobs xx this card is my design team contribution for the new stampin for the weekend challenge blog who have a pearls and swirls challenge starting 24th aug. i love this image and have a few cards ive made using it.. the papers are from first edition and ive paper pieced the dress to match. the feathers were complimentary from a chicken who had finished using them !! (hopefully) which i trimmed to make a fasinator xx

Hello everybobs xx this card has been made for my grand daughter in Malta who is going to be 5..

The image is a free Digi fromt he brilliant Saturated Canary.. the most cute lil darling digi's and such fun to colour.. Ive used my promarkers as usual and finished off with stickles for a bit of glitz.

Ive teamed it with cupcake papers and decoupage topper from Dovecraft.  The glittery candies are from papermania shimmer domes

Hello everybobs!  this card is my DT card for the stampin for the weekend challenge site and the challenge this time is MONOCHROMATIC which means of one colour...

I decided to go for a rich colour other than pinks or browns or black and white and these greeny blue shades are my fave... I used a papermania butterfly collection stamp set which included the flowers teamed with Henbury lane papers from my stash. The butterfly was stamped out 3 times with the legs on the corner of the picture, then one whole butterfly body with an extra set of wings added for dimention. Coloured with promarkers i finished off with a touch of stardust stickles..

the card will be used to give to my oldest daughter who is 21 next week xx

sunken decoupage card - strictly party

Hello everybobs xx this card has been done for my stepdaughters 21st birthday xx

She lives in malta and i thought the image was lovely lke the maltese beauty she is with long dark hair x

ive made this using papermanias strictly party pack and a sunken decoupage effect...its not easy to do sunken decoupage BUT nice effect when done...

you need to make up your matted layers for the front of your card but NOT attach them to the card YET..

then you need to make up your decoupage and measure how big the image is...

next decide where you want it to be on your card front and cut a shaped hole that is slightly smaller than your decoupage image (so it covers it and shows no edges) i used a nestie but as my card front was an 8x8 card and wouldnt go through my cuttlebug i cut the shape... drew round it on my card front then cut it out manually....

now lay the card front onto your card blank... and draw the outline through your shape onto your card... this is where you glue down your decoupage picture... then on the back of your card front place strips of sticky back foam from a roll OR lots of foam pads that will raise the front of your card before attaching it making sure the pic is in the middle of the hole you made.

the effect you then get is the sunken decoupage,,, it dosent raise up above your card but is in its own little alcove,,,, a real nice effect xxxx

First ever scrapbook page.....

Ive decided to do a scrapbook of my daughters prom so she has a keepsake of her lovely day and someplace to stick all those pretty pictures x

This is the first page and it depicts the alterations on the dress.. it had to be taken in from a size 12 to a size 8 and there was a lot of sewing involved. also there was another 12 meters of netting added to the underskirts!  on the scrap page whish shows the beading being done, ive added a piece of the netting from the dress, and some of the thread and seed beads used.

This is the front cover of the scrapbook.. showing my fave picture from those taken.

Hello everybobs xx..  this card has been made using my new micheal powell lighthouse stamp. ive coloured it using promarkers then built it up in layers to give it a 3d look... it would have been quicker to buy the decoupage card set but hey not as much fun as making your own x

hello everybobs xx this card has been made especially for my youngest daughter Natalie who will be dancing the night away at her school leavers Prom at the end of next week x

Ive made the image to fit her prom dress as near as I could make it so it represents her in all her finary

This is her on a try out of her dress..(on the night she will  be all made up with her hair in angel curls etc and her gold tiara like a lil princess x

Tim Holtz Gadget gears fathers day card

Hello everybobs x well ive been up since 7am to finish this card and my fingers are every shade of brown imaginable lol,,, lots of fun with promarkers and distress inks on this one x

Ive had the old beer tins out again to have fun making the cogs with my latest Tim Holtz 'Gadget Gears' die,,, Ive also used 'weathered clock'. The clock and cogs are coloured using various promarkers and ive teamed it with papers from papermania's 'Wellington' collection. The image is from the internet and the sentiment made using wordart.
